Establishing

Nepal Electrical Association was established in 2047 BS with legally permission under registered in Nepal government to create good relationship and co-ordination among electrical and electronic businessperson scattered in Nepal, which established with registration in related department of Nepal government. NEA established for social works and secures the rights of electrical and electronic businessperson   as well as of customers and users of electric and electronic goods and services. It also helps to continuity the market price of electric and electronic goods and services.



Introduction

Nepal Electrical Association is an association of firm, industries, company, seller, distributers, dealers, producer etc who are involve in electric and electronic business. It is establish for the secure of the rights of all electrical businessperson, firm organization etc. It is said as NEA in short form. Head office of NEA is located at Kathmandu, Bhotebahal and Sundhara. Up to now, NEA had able to establish the 5-district branch within the Nepal. Such as Chitwan district branch, Makwanpur district branch, Parsa district branch, Kanchanpur district branch, Nawalparasi district branch. In addition, it has 1500 Members. NEA organized its Annual General Meeting in every 1-year and Election in every 3 years. Up to now, NEA had organized 18th   Annual General Meeting and 9th Election. 



Nepal Electrical Association has taken general membership of Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce & Industries as well as membership of Nepal Chamber of Commerce. NEA had been performing needed activities with this Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce & Industries and Chamber of Commerce by creating interrelationship with their member.

NEA's board member, who is involved in this field established NEA. Boards of members are defined by election. Who win the election, those people will be the member of Association. In NEA, people are performed their task with their post. Objectives of NEA

1. NEA cures about electrical goods & services and its business.

2. NEA always tries to safe and develops the electrical business. As well as it, motivate to its related firm, company electrical development.

3. It continued freedom and high level of business that is in favor of industry and business.

4. If needed, it manages the punishment to control the unlimited competition and problem of its producers, businessperson who are under the control of NEA by discussion and help.

5. It motivates to industry and producer for the training and development and research.

6. To exchange the effective knowledge, NEA published the bulletins continuously.

7. NEA collects the information about national and international electrical business and provides this information to its members.

8. NEA organizes the team. Seminar, exhibition etc to provide collected information about electric and its member.

9. It will enhance the locality of this sector all in Nepal state, not only in one area. For this, association establishes its branches.

10. As well as any firm can established related with electrical business after getting the permission from this association within  periphery of rules and regulation of association.

11. This association coordinates with international electrical company to be a member and its exchange the new technology and knowledge.

12. Association tries to keep the problem in front of government to solve. In addition, generally it tries to solve obstacle created within the electric business.

13. Association managed to purchase fixed assets for association, manages the exchange full or some part of those assets and selling those assets.

14. Association always tries to enhance, develop, motivate to electrical business and company.

Above are the objectives of the association. However, if there are needed another activities, association perform other activities.

International Cooperation

Networking with overseas counterpart association from many countries for exchange of information, assistance to membership and other joint programs aimed enhancing business cooperation opportunities.

Initiatives with the government

Coordination with the minister of power for successful implementation of Accelerator  Power Development and Reform Programs, Support to Bureau of Energy Efficiency for standards & Labeling Program on Energy Products, Interface with Standard and Testing Institutions etc.
